I love paper, paper craft, and cards. Not the kind of cards that you find at Hallmark, the Wal-Mart of Paper, but cards that are original and well crafted. I have found a handful of these sites on the internet (and I try to make it to Crane’s each time I am Tyson’s Corner), and today I am going to share one of my favorites with you. If you are part of my family- SPOILER ALERT! You will probably be getting one of these cards sometime this year. So look away NOW if you don’t want to know what your impossibly witty card is going to say.

Old TomFoolery caught my eye several months ago, and I just got a new batch in:

Aren’t they awesome?! No sappy sayings, no stock photos with fuzzy focus, just Hey! you are special today- here’s your damn card. You can find Old Tom Foolery’s website here. The cards are expensive when compared to something you would pick up at Target, but, they are, Oh, so much better.

My current favorite is the one that states “Friend Forgets Friend’s Birthday.” It’s like I have accepted that someone this year is going to be forgotten, but all will be forgiven when I give them this AWESOME card. It’s a pre-emptive save to my inevietable FAIL!
